Mom’s Chicken with Veggies

If you are looking for something quick and easy to make try this simple meal my mother makes.
Ingredients:
- Four Chicken Thighs – $5
- 1 tsp of beef powder – N/A
- 3 Cloves of Garlic (minced) – $0.60
- Salt & Pepper – N/A
- Broccoli – $0.30 (~$1.50 a bag)
- 1 Carrot – $0.40 (~$2.00 a bag)
- 1 Celery – $0.30 (~$1.50 a bag)
- 1/2 tsp of Ginger – N/A
Total: ~$10* (Serves 4)

OnciuHungry.com is delighted to announce that its website has officially re-launched this week with a brand new look and style. As you can see the categories have been re-organized along the top of the website. We hope to update on a weekly basis with our recipes or others we have found on the interwebs.
If you have already looked around you might have notices some of our changes. The main change is the addition of video support, we will now be able to post videos for you to follow or watch. Another feature that we have introduced is the new comment system; we now use a single log-in system that will allow you to post from any of the six major networks including: Google, Facebook, Twitter, Blogger, OpenID and Flickr. Stir Fry Shrimp with Fettuccine Noddles

If you are looking for something quick and easy to make try this simple meal my mother makes.
Ingredients:
- Package of Shrimp – $5
- 1 (1-pound) flank steak, trimmed and cut into 1/4-inch strips – ~$5
- 4 Stalk of Green Onion – $0.80
- 2 Cloves of Garlic – $0.60
- Vegetable Oil – $1.50
- Kikkoman Soy Sauce – $2
- 1 Carrot – $0.60
- 1 Bell Pepper – $0.70
- Fettuccine Noodles – $2
Total: ~$15 (Serves 4)
Tools of the trade:
- Frying Pan
- Wood Cutting Board
- Strainer
Above you have everything listed of what you would need to make shrimp with fettuccine noodles. The serving size is about 4 people but my mom only used about half this time around. This takes about 20 mins to make and is very easy.
Munsu's Korean Fried Chicken (KFC)

- 6 Boneless Chicken Breast Cut Up – $9 for 10

How to Make Sushi Rice

If you want to make sushi or have a sweet tasting sticky rice then you have to read this very easy tutorial on how to cook it right!
Ingredients:
- 2 Cups of Sushi Rice/Fancy Rice – N/A ($5 a bag)
- 3 Tbsp of Rice Vinegar – N/A ($2 a bottle)
- 2 Tbsp Sugar – N/A ($2 a can)
- 2 tsp of Sea Salt – $1
Total: ~$3 (Serves 5)
Tools of the trade:
- Rice Cooker
- Wood Cutting Board
- Measuring cups
Above you have everything listed of what you would need to make the Sushi Rice. The serving size is about 5 people per 2 cups of rice. This takes a little bit of time compared to just throwing your rice in the rice cooker.
Pene with Sausage and Feta

This is one of my more time consuming recipes that I have posted. This was my favorite dish my sister made when I lived with her.
Ingredients:
- Package of Baby Spinach – $3
- 2x Cans of Diced Tomatoes – $2.25
- 2x Boxes of Penne Noodles – $2.50
- 2x Packages of Mozzarella Cheese – $4
- 2x Jars of Basil Pesto – $4
- 2x Packages of Feta Cheese – $4.50
- 1x Garlic Clove – $0.36
- 1x Onion – $0.52
- Sausage Links – $4.75
Total: ~$25 (Serves 10-12)
Tools of the trade:
- Pot
- Cutting Board (Make sure you wash after you cut the beef and veggies)
- Cooking Pan
- XL Casserole Dish

Classic Spaghetti

I know everyone has different ways of making spaghetti and their own tastes but I like things simple and fast. This is a classic spaghetti recipe that anyone that cooks has to know as it is a time saver when you are in a hurry.
Ingredients:
- 1 Jar of Prego Fresh Mushroom sauce ~ $2.5
- 1 lb of ground beef – $2.50 a pound
- Chopped Onions – ~$1
- Chopped Mushrooms – ~$1
- 1 box of Spaghetti Noodles – ~2
Total: ~$10
Tools of the trade:
- Pot
- Cutting Board (Make sure you wash after you cut the beef and veggies)
- Frying pan

New Cooking Set

Hey guys/gals,
My old cooking set was kinda ruined which was expected of a cheap $20 set, but it lasted for quite a few meals. So I was just able to get a new cooking set which is amazing, everything cooks so well. I got the 13-Piece Chef’s Classic Stainless Steel set (~$250).

HalfSight's Mini Turkey Chimichangas

This is a great and delicious way to use leftover turkey from any holiday feast. When I was growing up, my mom would make these chimichangas every year right after thanksgiving. I grew up on these and they are very tasty!
What you will need:
2 – 3 pounds of meat
Cumin
Chili Powder
3 Cans of Turkey Gravy
4 Cans of Diced Chile’s
1 Can of Black Beans
1 – 2 pounds of Cheese

I just wanted to keep you updated and let you know that we are still here, its just been a little busy with the Holidays! I will try and post some more recipes as they come but my camera died and my brother lost my charger =/
